Swiss cryptocurrency custody firm Taurus has expanded its services to Turkey, providing custody services to Istanbul-based BankPozitif. This marks the first time a Turkish bank has implemented institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure. In addition to the custody tool, the bank will use Taurus' "EXPLORER" service, which provides blockchain node and indexing infrastructure. Taurus sees Turkey as an exciting market for digital asset banking due to high adoption rates, increasing institutional interest, and favorable regulatory frameworks. Cryptocurrency adoption in Turkey has been on the rise in recent years due to economic problems and double-digit inflation.
