Copper, a cryptocurrency custody firm, has announced the appointment of Amar Kuchinad as its new global CEO. Kuchinad will replace Dmitry Tokarev, who will transition to the role of founder director on the board. Kuchinad's previous experience includes working at Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs, as well as serving as a senior policy advisor to the SEC. In his new role, he will focus on leading Copper's global growth strategy, particularly in strengthening its presence in the US. The company recently obtained a TCSP license in Hong Kong as part of its expansion plans.
