Hackatao, a renowned duo of artists in Crypto Art, has announced the launch of a new NFT collection of stamps inspired by Sissi and Franz Joseph I of Austria. The project was developed in collaboration with Austrian Post and will be released on December 12. The collection consists of 10,000 stamps, each accompanied by a unique digital certification via blockchain. The stamps can be purchased on the official website of Austrian Post and in selected post offices. They are described as "phygital," meaning they exist both physically and digitally. The collection aims to merge past and present and represents a meeting point between the physical and digital worlds. The stamps feature Empress Sissi and Franz Joseph I, representing opposing poles of Austrian history. The release of this NFT collection coincides with a recovery in the NFT market, with November 2024 seeing a significant increase in sales volume. Ethereum leads in terms of volumes, but the Bitcoin network also saw a substantial increase in NFT sales.
