Coinbase has released its State of Crypto report, which examines how cryptocurrency and blockchain technology are perceived and utilized in Argentina, Kenya, the Philippines, and Switzerland. The study, conducted by Ipsos and based on surveys with 4,000 adults in these countries, found that residents believe their local financial systems need improvement, and see cryptocurrencies and blockchain as tools that can enhance financial wealth and provide more freedom and independence. The report identified concerns such as lack of fairness, centralization, decreasing value of national currencies, and difficulties in earning and saving money. The respondents expressed a desire for more control over their financial state and viewed cryptocurrencies and blockchain as a means to achieve this. The study also revealed that Switzerland displayed lower interest in crypto compared to the other countries surveyed, likely due to a higher level of satisfaction with the current financial system.
