Following the announcement, both tokens experienced significant price increases, with GIGA jumping 37% and TURBO increasing by 15%. Gigachad is a Solana-based token that has gained popularity this year, while Turbo is an Ethereum-based meme coin created with a small budget and artificial intelligence. These additions bring the total number of meme coins listed on Coinbase to seven in recent weeks. Meme coins are known for their volatility and have become more popular due to platforms that make it easier to launch tokens.
