Yellow Card, an African stablecoin platform, has obtained a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license in South Africa and is now seeking a license from Nigeria's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The CASP license allows Yellow Card to operate within South Africa's regulatory framework and marks a significant milestone in its expansion across Africa. The company has facilitated over $3 billion in transactions across 20 African countries and aims to strengthen its presence in Nigeria by providing users with a secure and regulated platform for cryptocurrency transactions.
