The Cardano ecosystem is experiencing internal conflict at the executive level, as founder Charles Hoskinson directly responds to a post from Cardano Foundation President Frederik Gregaard. Gregaard highlights four key Layer-2 innovations on Cardano, including State-channels, Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC), Optimistic Rollup, and the Sky Protocol. However, he leaves out two innovations tied to Input Output Global (IOG), namely the Midnight Network and Partnerchain. Hoskinson teases that Midnight is so private it doesn't even get recognized. Cardano aims to drive further innovation through IOG and plans to integrate the RLUSD stablecoin for increased liquidity. Hoskinson also expresses an interest in pursuing Bitcoin DeFi to tap into Bitcoin's liquidity and enhance smart contract functionalities.
