Input Output Global, the development entity behind Cardano's (ADA) blockchain, has released an updated version of its full-node desktop wallet software called Daedalus v7.0.0. This release includes major changes to the ADA delegation mechanism and allows users to delegate their voting power to delegated representatives (DReps) or choose an automatic voting option. The new version also enables users to select their registration preference for each wallet and warns the community to be cautious of Daedalus-related scams. This release comes ahead of the upcoming Cardano Constitution referendum, where the ADA community will vote on decentralization principles. The draft of the constitution was recently approved by a convention in Buenos Aires.
