Canary Capital, a new company founded in October, has quickly established itself in the cryptocurrency ETF market. The firm has applied for ETFs for Solana, XRP, Litecoin, and Hedera, with the latter two being the first of their kind. Canary Capital's founder and CEO, Steve McClurg, co-founded Valkyrie Investments and left CoinShares to start Canary Capital. The company made strategic decisions to file for ETFs on assets they believed were not securities, such as XRP, which was later confirmed in court. While none of Canary Capital's applications have been approved yet, they are hopeful under the new administration. The company has not filed for its XRP and HBAR ETFs but may consider other tokens in the future.
