The managing partner and founder of Burwick Law, Max Burwick, is suspected of launching the token DOGSHIT2, which is at the center of a lawsuit against Pump Fun, despite denying any involvement. Research by crypto influencer Wirelyss shows that the account behind DOGSHIT2 shares the same crypto address as the purchaser of the DeGods NFT. An associate of Burwick posted a picture with NFT pictures covering their faces, including the y00t #6430 NFT linked to the DOGSHIT2 account. Burwick Law has included DOGSHIT2 in the lawsuit against Pump Fun for allegedly offering and selling unregistered securities. The law firm denies any affiliation with the token but has been criticized for launching it "off-chain" instead. The SEC's statement on memecoins may also affect the lawsuit, as it claims they do not involve securities. Both Burwick Law and Wirelyss have been contacted for comment.
