The crypto market is experiencing a decrease in volatility, with total liquidations amounting to $240 million in the past 24 hours, a significant drop from the recent $1 billion liquidation events. Long traders of Bitcoin lost $44 million due to the price slump, while short trader liquidations accounted for $20.92 million. XRP had a smaller liquidation of $6.57 million, with short traders losing $3.65 million. Dogecoin had $9.2 million in liquidations, evenly split between long and short traders. Bitcoin's price has entered a consolidation phase and is currently at $93,907.15, down 13% from its all-time high seven days ago. The high correlation between Bitcoin and altcoins like XRP and DOGE might limit their growth if there is no boost from Bitcoin.
