BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, has revealed that it has a heavy concentration in Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), with these two cryptocurrencies accounting for over 99% of its cryptocurrency portfolio. The firm has $56.41 billion allocated to its crypto holdings, with Bitcoin making up the majority at 550,643 BTC and Ethereum following with 1.037 million ETH. BlackRock's transition from skepticism to adoption in the cryptocurrency space has been transformative, with its Bitcoin fund surpassing $50 billion in assets under management within just 11 months. While Bitcoin and Ethereum dominate its strategy, there are signs that altcoins like Solana and XRP could gain traction through future ETF approvals.
