BlackRock has purchased an additional 318 Bitcoin as the U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) celebrate one year since their approval and launch. The firm now holds BTC in its $11 trillion in assets under management. Fidelity has also sold 1,210 Bitcoins from its Fidelity Physical Bitcoin ETP. BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, has seen unprecedented growth and is considered the fastest ETF to reach milestones in any asset class. Fidelity currently has over $111 billion in total assets. BlackRock's IBIT is the best-performing crypto product with $37.7 billion in cumulative net inflows. U.S. Bitcoin ETFs have seen over $100 billion in net assets, with crypto analysts predicting a further $48 billion in net inflows in 2025. BlackRock plans to launch a new Bitcoin ETF in the Canadian securities exchange. Nasdaq has proposed increasing position and exercise limits for IBIT options. The SEC has 45 days to decide on the proposal.
