The partnership will provide ample liquidity for trading, low latency, and reduced commission costs. This integration aims to remove obstacles to adoption in the crypto world and unlock new investment options for traders and institutions. The collaboration between Bitfinex Derivatives and Thalex is expected to drive significant growth in the crypto options and expiring futures markets. The integration of Thalex will allow Bitfinex to climb the rankings in terms of futures positions and attract new exchanges. In the options market, Deribit currently dominates with a market share of 84%. Bitfinex does not currently offer options to its users.
