Bitcoin experienced significant volatility in the past 24 hours, dropping below $90,000 for the first time in months but subsequently rising by over $7,000. Other altcoins are also in recovery mode, with Ethereum reclaiming $3,200 and DOGE seeing a daily jump of over 7%. Bitcoin had been in a freefall since last Tuesday's peak above $102,000, resulting in retracements and losses of over $10,000 within 48 hours. However, after reaching a multi-month low of $89,200, BTC started to recover rapidly and is currently trading just below $97,000. The altcoin market also suffered, but several cryptocurrencies, including XRP, SOL, DOGE, ADA, SUI, LINK, HBAR, APT, and AAVE, are now seeing impressive daily gains. The overall crypto market has recovered $200 billion in a day, with a total market capitalization of $3.5 trillion.
