A group of Bank of America customers is suing the financial giant in a proposed class action lawsuit. The customers allege that the bank did not fulfill its promise of reward points to new credit card customers who spent $3,000 within 90 days. Specifically, the lawsuit claims that customers who signed up for the Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard were given a different promotional offer without proper notice, resulting in a lower bonus. The lawsuit seeks damages, restitution, injunctive relief, and class certification to address and cease Bank of America's alleged deceptive practices.
