The suspect, a 32-year-old man, has been arrested and charged with supporting a criminal organization. The AFP was able to crack the suspect's crypto accounts through digital forensics. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to weaken criminal networks, with previous operations yielding millions in seized assets. The AFP's Criminal Assets Confiscation Taskforce (CACT) has restrained over $1.1 billion in criminal assets since 2019. The AFP showcased its ability to trace and recover hidden assets, stating that criminals can't hide their illicit funds. Operation Kraken has resulted in numerous arrests, search warrants, and the seizure of cash and weapons.
