Police in Australia have arrested four people in connection with an organized crime syndicate accused of stealing from crypto ATMs and collectible card stores in Melbourne. The group allegedly targeted six ATMs and several trading card stores, seizing approximately 50,000 AUD ($31,800) worth of trading cards and multiple firearms. Australia has seen a significant increase in crypto ATM installations, becoming the world's third-largest market. Illicit activity from crypto ATMs is double that of the overall crypto ecosystem. The suspects face multiple charges, with connections to Middle Eastern organized crime syndicates identified. Two additional suspects were released pending further investigation.
