Japanese advertising company Hakuhodo has announced a partnership with Tools for Humanity to promote the controversial digital ID and crypto project, Worldcoin, in Japan. The project aims to protect humans from AI fraud and imposters and has already verified nearly 7 million individuals using its Orb retina scanning tool. However, skeptics are concerned about the collection of sensitive biometric data and the involvement of large corporations in the project. Hakuhodo aims to promote World ID to create a society in which AI and humans can coexist.
