Crypto.com, a cryptocurrency exchange, made a series of large transfers of Shiba Inu tokens to an unidentified wallet, causing surprise and speculation within the Shiba Inu community. The first batch of 1.634 trillion SHIB tokens, worth $39 million, was moved by Crypto.com to the unknown wallet. Multiple similar transactions occurred afterwards, totaling 32.74 trillion tokens. However, it was later revealed that these transfers were internal and intended to enhance liquidity and security. Some users speculated that a whale was accumulating Shiba Inu tokens, while others raised concerns about potential security breaches. The transfers coincided with a downturn in the Shiba Inu market, with the token's value declining by almost 10%.
