Ripple has not minted any new RLUSD stablecoins for the past four days, according to Ripple Stablecoin Tracker data. This pause in minting is not the first time it has occurred, as Ripple also halted minting for over 10 days in February. Industry experts believe this is a deliberate move to balance demand and supply and prevent flooding the market. Some analysts speculate that this pause could have a positive impact on XRP's price stability in the short term. Ripple may be aiming to stay competitive with other stablecoins like USDT and USDC, which currently dominate the sector. Despite the halt in minting, the price of XRP has experienced fluctuations, currently trading at $2.40, a 9.33% decline from its previous level.
