Description

Exchange Union (XUC) is a blockchain-based project offering comprehensive connectivity solutions for digital currency exchanges. Founded in 2016 by a team of experienced digital currency exchanges, Exchange Union has the aim to bridge digital currency exchanges and increase interoperability. XUC is the project’s token and its utility as reward, among other things. The project is led by CEO and Co-founder John Cao, and CTO and Co-founder Carlo Kors. The team also includes well-known industry professionals and advisors like Richard Zschetzsche, founder of SRP Solutions and Trail of Bits; Robbin Mazurel, co-founder of RushWallet; Ross Bevington, a seasoned banking and cryptocurrency lawyer; Sean Walsh, CEO of Redwood City Ventures; and Joyce Yang, a seasoned cryptocurrency investor and a partner at G.O. Ventures. Exchange Union's unique proposition is its focus on increasing exchange interoperability and integration. By connecting different exchanges and lowering friction, it enables traders to diversify their portfolios more easily and access more precise liquidity. Furthermore, the platform plans to build the world’s first “passport system” where users of any exchange would be able to access services in other exchanges without undergoing redundant processes. XUC is used as an internal token in the exchange and it also has several other utilities. Exchange Union has also announced an incentive program, where traders and liquidity providers are rewarded with XUC tokens. Additionally, XUC can be used to purchase additional API-based application services like automated trading bots, bots that offer market-making, and API aggregation. There are currently two exchanges that support XUC, namely Allcoin and KBB Exchange. XUC can be bought and sold in exchanges such as Livecoin and YoBit through BTC and ETH respectively. Traders and holders of XUC who wish to track its progress can do so on their web site, where its price and other metrics are listed in real time. The Exchange Union project is a great way to bridge the existing gap between digital currency exchanges. With its focus on increasing interoperability and reducing friction, it allows traders and liquidity providers to access more accurate information and diversify their portfolios more easily. With its commitment to technology and focus on user experience, the project is one to watch.
